What is SiteBuilder?

SiteBuilder is a drag and drop web site building tool. It comes with over 170 stunning templates, allowing you to build a web site to suit any purpose! 

How can I offer SiteBuilder to my customers?

SiteBuilder is included free of charge with our Advanced and Professional reseller plans. Your customers will have full access to all of the SiteBuilder features and every single template. They can create a site on their main domain, as well as any subdomains and addon domains you may have configured in their package.

Are there any additional costs for SiteBuilder?

Provided your reseller plan includes SiteBuilder, there are absolutely no additional costs. We want our resellers to be as successful as possible, and that means being able to compete effectively. We're very conscious that there are a growing number of high-quality site building solutions available today which are eating into the web hosting market. For this reason, we are providing SiteBuilder free of charge!

I'm a web design firm. Why should I promote SiteBuilder?

If you're a web design company, you may be wondering if you should offer SiteBuilder. The fact is that more and more customers are looking for a low cost and simple solution to create a web site. Offering SiteBuilder allows you to cater for customers who might not yet have the budget for a custom designed site.

You can add additional value to SiteBuilder by providing 'Assisted Setup' packages where you charge to add their logo, populate their pages, configure their SEO and add your own design flare to the process. They can then easily maintain their site going forward. You have then gained a customer that you might otherwise have lost to another online site builder, and as their business grows and needs develop, you may have the opportunity as a result of this relationship to up-sell them onto a more profitable design solution.

What if I don't want to offer SiteBuilder?

If you're sure that you don't want to offer SiteBuilder to your customers, it can be fully disabled from their cPanel by using the Feature Manager in WHM.

Can I provide SiteBuilder only on some plans?

Yes, you can use the Feature Manager in WHM to disable SiteBuilder, and then set certain packages so that SiteBuilder is hidden from cPanel. 

Can I offer a SiteBuilder package with limited features?

Yes! To offer a plan with limited features, create a package named 'WebsiteLite'. Any customers on this plan will be limited to 30 templates, and will have limited features available in the SiteBuilder editor. Features unavailable in this mode are:

• Custom HTML Editing
• PayPal Integration
• Music
• AdSense / Advertising Integration
• Flash
• Social Media Widgets (Facebook, Twitter, Flikr, Skype etc.)

Can I provide a demo?

Yes, you can provide your customers with a demo before they sign up. Simply create a link on your web site to http://www.sitebuilder.zone. Please note that it is not possible to convert any content created in demo mode to a real site, and all content will be erased after 24 hours.

How can I promote this to my customers?

We've created a promotional email that you can use to email your customers to let them know. You can also use this as the basis for creating promotional material for your web site.

Can I brand SiteBuilder with my own logo?

Currently, it's not possible to brand SiteBuilder with your own logo as part of our reseller offering as it is centrally installed on the server. We chose a generic name for the site building tool so that it can be easily integrated with any brand. If you have a virtual or dedicated server, for a small monthly charge we can configure SiteBuilder with your logo and so that the editor operates on your own domain name.

Do you have any 'Getting Started' guides for SiteBuilder?

We have found that most customers are able to use SiteBuilder to build a site without any real need for help. We are however working on creating a series of knowledgebase articles which you can provide to your customers to help them get started. We will let you know once this has been created!
