You can now set up mutiple ruby application quickly from within cPanel. Each ruby application you can install can have it's own application directory and installed on it's own domain, subdomain, or subfolder. Each installation can have it's own modules needed just for that application.
1.) Log into cPanel.
2.) Click the 'Setup Ruby App' icon
3.) Choose the Ruby Version and set the App Directory and App Domain you wish to use for this application and click the 'Setup' button.
4.) Once setup you should see a screen simliar to the one below:
If you need to change an application or update the ruby version, you can click the respective edit buttons to do so. For the changes to take effect you must click the UPDATE button. To remove the application, click the 'Remove' button at the bottom of the installed application:
Once the application has been setup you have access to install additional modules right on the page by clicking the 'Show' link next to modules. Using the text box, search for the module you wish to install. For example, to install rails search for rails:
Click on the module you wish to install and you will see the various versions that can be installed:
Seelct the version you wish to install and click the 'Add' button. To complete the installation, click the 'Update' button.
