How to create an email account in cPanel

This demo assumes you've already logged in to cPanel

Now let's create a new email account

1) Click the Email Accounts icon:

2) Click on Create to add a new email account

3) On the next screen you will select your email domain (if you have more than one) and enter the email address username and password. You will need to keep note of these details as you may need them to set up your email client.

4) You may wish to view the Optional Settings to define additional parameters, including:

The mailbox quota, which you can set up to a certain value depending on your plan.
Whether you would like plus addressing to automatically create folders for you.
Whether you'd like to receive an email with your account access credentials.

5) Once you're happy, click on Create

That's it! The new email address has been successfully created.

You may now access webmail or obtain the connection settings to set your email up on your device.
