Adding tabs to a website can greatly enhance the user experience by providing a clear and organized way to present information. Tabs allow users to easily navigate between different sections of a website without having to scroll through a lengthy page. This can help users find the information they need more quickly and efficiently, leading to a more positive user experience. Additionally, tabs can also help to reduce clutter on a website, making it easier for users to focus on the information they need. By using tabs on a website, you can create a more user-friendly and effective website that meets the needs of your users.
To add a tab:
1. Drag on the Tabs element from the Advanced menu item.
2. Adjust the default width and margin on the tab, or allow the tab to adjust the size automatically. It may often be helpful to place the tab within an existing Layout.
3. In the configuration panel on the right, adjust the background colour of the tab items. You'll need to adjust the Default, Hover and Active state to set the look and feel for each tab style.
4. You'll see each of the tab panels in your Page Structure tree
You can adjust the content in each tab. You can insert any content you need within the tab, including additional layouts and blocks.
5. Each tab panel can also be adjusted in the same way as a Layout, with the additional option of being able to specify a title and icon.
6. To add additional tabs, you can press New Item to insert a blank tab.
7. By adjusting the tabs and nesting content within the tabs block, you can create beautiful tabs that pop!
