Customising Your AI Starter Site with Astra

So you've built a site with Kualo’s AI Starter Sites. It’s got pages. It's got words. It even has some nice images you chose. You’ve essentially skipped 90% of the hard part—thanks, AI.

But now you’re ready to make it more you. Maybe you didn’t add a logo during setup—or you’ve just whipped up a fresh one. Maybe you’re curious about different fonts (we kept it simple to start, but Astra unlocks hundreds of fonts to explore). Or maybe you want to tweak how your header behaves when someone scrolls. That’s where Astra steps in.

What Is Astra, and Why Should You Care?

Astra is the theme that powers the skeleton of your website—the layout, the styles, the way everything clicks into place. Think of it as the framework that makes your site look sharp without writing a single line of code. It's used by over 2 million websites, and it plays really nicely with Spectra (your page builder).

Together, they’re your design tag-team: Astra handles your theme-level styling (headers, menus, blog layout), and Spectra makes it fun to design individual pages with blocks.

Log in to your WordPress dashboard
Head to Astra > Customize
You’re now in the Astra Customizer—an intuitive side-panel where you can preview your changes live.
Make your tweaks, hit Publish, and voila—new vibe, same content.
