Patchman operates on our reseller servers, however rather than contacting your customer directly, Patchman will notify you as the reseller about any outdated applications, vulnerabilities or about any actions it has taken in an automated basis.
If you manage the web site on behalf of your customers, we recommend that you take action to resolve any security issues proactively. Otherwise if your customers are responsible for their applications, we recommend that you notify your customers immediately about any actions that may be required by them.
As a reseller, you have access to view the status of all of your resold web sites. To access this, log into the cPanel of your main reseller domain, and click the 'Patchman' icon. You will be logged into Patchman in an overview mode, so that you can review all of your clients at a glance, and drill into the security issues that each account may have. Your dashboard will look as follows:
If you have your own VPS or dedicated server with us, we can configure Patchman to email your customers directly, using your own branding. Please contact us for further information on this.
