How to clear your browser cache
If you are experiencing any connectivity issue, it is advisable to clear your browser's cache. This article outlines how this is done in Internet Exporer, Firefox, Safari and Chrome.
Chrome:
- Access Chrome
- Go to History
- Click on History (again)
- Click on Clear browsing data
- Untick the boxes for the items you would like to keep, select the period for which you want to delet them and then click Clear Data
Firefox:
- Access Firefox
- Go to History
- Click on Clear Recent History
- Select the time range and the items you wish to clear and then click Clear Now
Safari:
- Access Safari
- Go to Develop
- Click on Empty caches
In case you do not see "Develop" , you can easily enable it by clicking on Safari->Preferences->Advanced-> Tick the box next to "Show Develop menu in menu bar"
Internet Explorer 9,10 and 11:
- Access IE
- Go to Tools->Safety
- Click on Delete browsing history
- Uncheck the option for Preserve Favorites website data
- Tick the options for Temporary Internet Files and Cookies
- Click Delete
We would also recommend that you clear your DNS cache too.
