The Webmail allows you to access your email from any computer that has a web browser and an internet connection.
The easiest way to access your Webmail interface is by visiting http://your-domain.com/webmail, where your-domain.com is your actual domain name or through the cPanel:
- Email Accounts >> More >> Access Webmail:
Clicking on the Access Webmail through the Email Accounts section in your cPanel, will log you in to the default system email account.
Please do not use that email account to send emails, but instead create a new one.
To create a new email account and access it's webmail, go to cPanel >> Mail >> Email Accounts >> Add Email Account
For more information, click here: How to create an email account in cPanel
The Webmail interface allows you access to three different E-Mail clients: Horde, Roundcube and SquirrelMail:
You can choose a default webmail application, by clicking on Set as Default.
Next time you click on Access Webmail, you will be automatically logged in into the default application.
You can change your email configuration options anytime, by clicking on your E-Mail account at the top navigation bar:
You can easily send email messages through the webmail client you have selected.
Just hit the New Message button in Horde or the Compose button in RoundCube and Squirrelmail and you will be able to start writing your message.
Make certain to log out when you check your email on public computers so that other people cannot access your email.
Which Webmail application should you choose?
The best advise would be to test all three of them and see which interface you lilke the most:
Horde:
Roundcube:
SquirrelMail:
