Creating a Full Account Backup/Snapshot in cPanel

This demo assumes you've already logged in to cPanel.

A snapshot is equivalent to a full account backup and contains a copy of all your files, databases, email accounts, etc. under your cPanel. By taking a Snapshot, you can generate a copy of your whole cPanel account from the time the Snapshot was taken.

Now let's learn how to generate a Snapshot of our account in cPanel.

1) Click on the Snapshots icon under the JetBackup tab:

2) Click on Create Snapshot to generate a copy of your account.

2) By clicking the Download icon you can generate a download of the backup. Please keep in mind that we are keeping only the last 1 download on our server, and older downloads will be removed.

You will see a notification that the download process is in progress. At the end of the process, you will be able to download a .tar file of the Snapshot by simply clicking on Download again.
