How to Reset Your cPanel Password

This article discusses various methods in resetting cPanel passwords.

Depending on your hosting type, there are different ways on how to reset the password of your cPanel.

Method 1: Via the cPanel (this method requires the current password)

Method 2: Via the my.kualo.com client area

Method 3: Via the WHM (if you are using reseller hosting, VPS, or dedicated server)

Method 1: Via the cPanel (this method requires the current password).

Go to your cPanel >> Password & Security:

Enter your old (current) cPanel password, then the new password and hit Change your password now!

Method 2: Via the my.kualo.com client area.

Login to the client area: https://my.kualo.com/ then go to My Services >> View Details (make sure to click on the text, rather than on the little drop down arrow next to it):

then click on the Change Password tab and enter your new cPanel password:

Method 3: Via the WHM (if you are using reseller hosting, VPS, or dedicated server)

Search for the account which password you want to change >> select it >> enter the new password at the bottom >> Change Password:
