How To Use The YouTube Widget

There are two ways to add YouTube videos to your site. You can add these as a playable video using the Media widget, or you may add a video as a background video so you may add content on top.

Adding YouTube Videos using the Media Widget

1. Launch the Site Builder tool from your cPanel.

2. Go to the page where you want to insert the YouTube video.

3. Drag the 'Media' widget to your page, and select YouTube from the available options.

4. Paste in the link to your YouTube video into the YouTube URL or ID field.

5. Make any other adjustments you need to the width or height of the video.

Adding YouTube Videos as a Background

If you'd like to add a YouTube video as a background, this is controlled via the Background setting of the Layout that you'd like to add the video.

1. Launch the Site Builder tool from your cPanel.

2. Add or Select a Layout and edit the background.

3. Choose the Picture / Video URL tab.

4. Select Video from the choice.

4. Paste in the link to your YouTube video into the URL Field.

5. If you need to add an overlay, you may select a background colour in addition, and reduce the opacity of the video.
